


this is especially true with dungeons, where you're going to see repeated textures and layouts/objectives that are fairly copy-and-paste. Doesn't help that quite often assets get very repetitive. The problem that some players experienced during the F&F alpha and closed beta was that, compared to D3, D4 got sharper textures but the palate got a little bland or drab. The issue with the graphics in D4 is that it's "darker" and more "broody" than D3, but there's a reason D3 did what it did: it was pretty engaging visually.

They're now shocked to discover that instead of it looking like your TV's backlight is broken constantly, that things are actually VISIBLE on the screen, and what a true tragedy they've found themselves in.Consoles aside, it'll depend on your hardware. The community whipped itself in to a frenzy about how it was going to be "dark" and "broody".
